Delete your Slingshot account

Effective date: October 9, 2026

You can delete your Slingshot account at any time, in the app. Slingshot is published by Vybe sp. z o.o..

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Slingshot app and sign in.
  2. On the home screen, tap the "Options" button in the top right corner.
  3. Select "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm the deletion.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymise within 30 days:

  • your profile, including your name, profile picture, date of birth and gender;
  • your contact details and login information;
  • photos, videos and other content you posted;
  • your location data and device identifiers linked to the account.

What we keep

  • Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 90 days.
  • Reports and moderation records are kept for up to 2 years to handle appeals and prevent banned users from returning.
  • Reported conversations and profiles are kept together with the moderation records described above.
  • Data we must keep by law or to preserve evidence for authorities is kept for as long as required.
